Create an easy eye makeup for your eye color. Learn how to complement and contast
blue eyes, brown eyes, and green eyes.
Step 1
There are two ways to enhance your natural eye color—you can select an eye shadow shade that matches and complements your eye color, or you can use a shade that contrasts your eye color and makes it pop.
For green eyes, match your eye color with an earthy tone like green or brown. Contrast with a purple shade, as purple is the opposite of green. Start your look by applying a base of Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick in a shade close to your skin tone (seen here in Bone) to neutralize any darkness. Then swipe on a shade to enhance your eye color (seen here in Golden Amber).

Step 2
If you have blue eyes, cool-tone grey and silver eyeshadow shades will complement your eye color. Or choose a warm bronze shade to contrast eyes. Our Long-Wear Cream Shadow Sticks feature many amber and warm brown shades that will enhance blue eyes, as well as cool tones to match blue eyes (seen here in Mica).

Step 3
If you have brown eyes, many eyeshadow shades work well. Choose a darker brown shade if you want to match your eye color. If you want to make your eye color pop, choose a contrasting shade like purple with a cooler blue tone. Swipe on our Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick (seen here in Mulberry) and blend with your finger. Repeat to layer color and build intensity for more impact.
